Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders in adults across Texas. Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered state license to practice speech pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and CAA-accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adults for speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to plan care.
• Additional duties as assigned.
