Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to deliver in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence and quality of life.

Required qualifications include an active state license, CCC-SLP with accredited graduate coursework and practicum, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state assigned to work in
• Current CCC-SLP credential with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum in an CAA-accredited program
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders in adults
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Other duties as assigned
