Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders in adults. You will collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to improve communication and quality of life.

Requirements include an active state license, CCC-SLP and CPR certification, with preferred experience in home health.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current CCC-SLP certification with program accredited by CAA.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders in adults at home.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for deaf or hard of hearing individuals.
• Collaborate with patients, families and interdisciplinary team to improve communication and safety.
