Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home and community-based speech, language, and swallowing services to adults with developmental disabilities. Evaluate and treat expressive/receptive language, articulation, social communication, AAC needs, and dysphagia in accordance with NJ DDD guidelines.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, home-based therapy, caregiver training, documentation, and collaboration with the team

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the NJ Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required; CFs considered with supervision.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; CFs and new graduates considered.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass DDD background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and person-centered goals.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy services in the participant's home and community settings.
• Document services in compliance with DDD documentation standards, including notes and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals between sessions.
• Adhere to DDD policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
• Maintain accurate billing records consistent with DDD rates and authorizations.
• Complete required DDD trainings (Pre-Service, Danielle's Law, etc.).
