Job summary

Sunrun is hiring a Field Sales Consultant in California. The role self-generates leads and delivers in-home presentations to qualify solar solutions for customers. You will build relationships, manage the sales pipeline, and report outcomes in the CRM while meeting sales targets.

Average California compensation for the first year ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 with base pay plus incentives. This full-time position requires travel within the local market and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience.
• In-home sales experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our CRM tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
