Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads and present solar solutions directly with homeowners. You will conduct in-home sales presentations, qualify prospects, and build lasting relationships while traveling within the local market.

The role emphasizes face-to-face engagement and meeting sales targets. You will work with a cross-functional team, report outcomes via CRM, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement and incentive

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience; in-home sales experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old, have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; ability to pass a driving background check.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs.
• Willingness to travel within the local market as required by business needs and sales model.
• Comfort with technology, including an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications; CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate knowledge and needs; build long-lasting relationships.
• Dispositon and report outcomes via our CRM tool and manage the sales pipeline from prospect to install.
• Meet minimum sales targets as set by sales leadership.
