Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to self-generate sales leads and present in-home solar products and services. You will build genuine relationships with potential customers and qualify solar as a viable energy solution for homes and families.

You will conduct in-home presentations, manage the sales pipeline, and meet targets. This role requires travel within the local market, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer’s system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate needs, building long-lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Dispo and report outcomes via CRM tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
