Job summary

Sunrun in California is seeking a Field Sales Consultant who self-generates leads and delivers in-home solar product presentations to qualify customers for solar solutions. You’ll connect with homeowners, build trust, and drive the sales process from first contact to installation while meeting targets.

The role requires 1 year of sales experience, willingness to travel within the local market, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in sales or lead generation, in-home sales preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; 21+.
• Strong communication and teamwork to address customer needs.
• Willingness to travel within local market as needed.
• Able to work flexible evenings and weekends.
• Comfort with technology and using an iPad and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Deliver industry-leading in-home sales experiences from contact to installation.
• Conduct in-home presentations and assess customer needs.
• Manage activity pipeline from prospect to install and follow up.
• Accurately report outcomes via CRM.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
