Job summary

Sunrun is hiring a Field Sales Consultant in New Jersey to self-generate leads and deliver in-home solar product presentations. You will manage the customer journey from initial contact to installation, building lasting relationships and meeting sales targets.

Candidates should have 1+ year of sales experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and comfort with technology. Travel within the local market and flexible hours are expected terms of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience; in-home sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs.
• Willingness to travel within local market according to business needs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Intermediate comfort level with technology, using an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications (CRM a plus).

Responsibilities

• Self-generates sales leads and presents in-home solar product presentations.
• Develops effective sales strategies and appointments with potential customers.
• Delivers an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after activation.
• Conducts in-home presentations, assesses customer knowledge and needs, builds lasting relationships.
• Manages pipeline from prospect to install and reports outcomes via CRM.
• Meets minimum sales targets set by leadership.
