Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to self-generate leads and present in-home solar options. You’ll build genuine connections, qualify homeowners, and move opportunities through the install pipeline with CRM support.

The role requires 1 year of sales or lead generation, a valid driver’s license, ability to travel locally, and flexible hours. You’ll work in the field using an IPAD and multiple software apps; Sunrun offers competitive pay with commissions and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales/lead generation experience, in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork to address customer needs.
• Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort with using an IPAD/computer and multiple software apps; CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customers’ needs to build long-lasting relationships.
• Handle pipeline from prospect to install by following up with leads and consultations.
• Accurately report outcomes via CRM tool.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
