Sunrun in California seeks a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads, present in-home solar options, and build lasting relationships with homeowners. You will travel within the local market, work flexible hours, and use an iPad/CRM to manage customers through the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience (in-home sales preferred).
• Must be 21 years of age, with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to address customer needs.
• Willingness to travel within local market and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after activation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs.
• Handle pipeline from prospect to install and follow up with leads and consultations.
• Disposit and report outcomes via CRM.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
