Job summary

ADT provides smart home security solutions and in-home consultations. You will guide residential customers in designing a home setup that protects what they value most, combining hands-on installation with consultative sales.

You’ll activate systems, educate customers on the app and features, and tailor solutions to each home. Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; location-based licensing may apply.
• Strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with smart device ecosystems and connected technologies.
• Ability to understand how multiple products interact within a home network.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on goals
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices
• Integrate new products with existing setup
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions
• Complete customer onboarding and product education
• Identify upsell opportunities that strengthen home protection
