ADT is seeking a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing a secure, connected home. You will perform in-home installations and consultative sales, educating customers on app features and how devices work together.

Role involves installing security hardware and IoT devices, troubleshooting, and onboarding customers. It offers hourly pay with uncapped commissions and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with smart devices and IoT.
• Ability to design effective home security layouts.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools.
• Ability to lift 10+ pounds and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras and IoT devices.
• Integrate new products with existing home systems.
• Troubleshoot and answer technical questions.
• Complete onboarding and product education for customers.
• Proactively support and upsell to strengthen home protection.
