Job summary

ADT is seeking a Smart Home Consultant to design and install home security and IoT solutions. You’ll perform in-home consultations, educate customers on the app and features, and tailor setups to protect what customers value most.

You will activate systems, troubleshoot questions, and drive ongoing support while exploring upsell opportunities. Competitive hourly pay with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with smart devices and home networks.
• Ability to advise on system design and setup.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Ability to climb and lift 10+ lbs., indoor/outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on goals.
• Install and activate security hardware and IoT devices.
• Integrate new products with existing setups.
• Troubleshoot technical questions and educate customers.
• Onboard customers and provide product education.
• Identify upsell opportunities to strengthen protection.
