ADT’s Field Operations team seeks a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing home security and smart device configurations. You will combine hands-on installation with consultative sales to tailor solutions that protect what they value most, from setup to continued education on apps and features.

You’ll activate systems, educate customers, and ensure each solution fits their unique needs, while building lasting confidence through proactive support and ongoing follow-up.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with customers in home settings.
• Technical aptitude with smart devices and home networks.
• Ability to guide customers in designing security/smart home setups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
• Integrate new products with existing setups.
• Troubleshoot technical questions.
• Complete customer onboarding and product education.
• Identify upsell opportunities to strengthen protection.
