Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver outpatient rehab in home settings across Massachusetts communities such as Haverhill and surrounding towns. The role may be part-time or full-time, with a patient-centered approach and collaboration with a supervising Physical Therapist.

You will provide targeted PT interventions, education, and support to older adults, with opportunities for mentorship, CEUs, visa sponsorship options, and nationwide travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license to practice Physical Therapy as a PTA.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to patient care conferences as a PT representative.
• Maintain adherence to treatment schedules and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in PT techniques under the PT supervision.
• Maintain timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Clean and maintain equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Provide patient-centered PT treatments including therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and education.
