Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in home and facility settings for older adults. You will support licensed therapists and deliver customized therapy plans in patients' homes or independent living facilities, with a flexible schedule and varied environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attend patient care conferences and act as a representative of physical therapy under the supervision of the licensed PT.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules; ensure timely clinical and billing documentation and attend required meetings.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to implement programs tailored to each patient’s needs and abilities.
• Assist the PT during tests, evaluations and complex procedures.
• Instruct patients, families and caregivers in treatment techniques under supervision of the PT.
• Maintain documentation for all patients and ensure equipment is clean, maintained and reported for repair when needed.
