Job summary

Scylla Solutions LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults, guided by a licensed Physical Therapist. The role emphasizes functional outcomes in the patient’s home and requires flexible scheduling across various home settings.

You will support the therapy plan, manage timely documentation, and collaborate with the rehab team to ensure high-quality patient care. A CA PTA license and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in California.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to clients' residences.
• Experience providing in-home outpatient rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedule, with timely clinical and billing documentation and attendance at meetings.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement patient-specific programs and activities.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in treatment techniques under the Physical Therapist.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports equipment repairs as needed.
• Puts Patient Service First by delivering high-quality compassionate care.
• Implements individualized treatment plans established by the primary Physical Therapist.
• Delivers PT interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and functional training.
