Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation To You is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehab in home settings for older adults across the United States. The role emphasizes patient-centered care delivered in the patient's home, with a flexible schedule and varied environments.

You will work under a Licensed Physical Therapist, deliver therapeutic exercises, functional training and airway clearance, collaborate with the rehab team, and ensure documentation and quality service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends patient care conferences and meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Adheres to department schedules; completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations and procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs.
• Puts patient service first, delivering compassionate care.
• Implements individualized treatment plans by PT.
• Provides treatments: exercise, functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance, wound care, electrotherapy, health and wellness, falls risk interventions, chronic disease education.
• Performs other related duties.
