Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks dedicated Registered Nurses for in-home health care as 1099 Independent Contractors. You will provide holistic, compassionate care to energy workers in their homes, building meaningful patient relationships and supporting families.

Responsibilities include assessments, education, ADL support, care-plan coordination, and documentation in an EMR system, with strong emphasis on safety and compassionate communication.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Malpractice insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to ensure personalized, comprehensive home-based care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients per care plans and preferences.
• Monitor changes in patient symptoms and report promptly to the care team.
