Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering compassionate in‑home care to energy workers and their families. You will travel between locations in your own vehicle, conducting assessments, educating families, and administering prescribed treatments.

The role emphasizes building trusting relationships, coordinating with Case Managers, and maintaining meticulous EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid and active RN License in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Malpractice insurance required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide personalized in‑home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
• Assist with ADLs with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedule with patients per care plan and consented hours.
• Monitor symptoms and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with Case Managers and treating physicians.
• Document care accurately in the EMR system.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
