Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join as a 1099 Independent Contractor, delivering in-home care to energy workers and families. You will conduct assessments, educate families, assist with ADLs, and coordinate care directly with patients for comfort and convenience.

Qualifications

• A valid and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to deliver personalized, comprehensive in-home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when needed with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients according to plan of care, approved hours, and preferences.
• Monitor patient symptoms and report changes promptly to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Communicate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure a unified care plan.
• Maintain accurate and compassionate patient documentation in the EMR.
• Offer emotional support to patients and family members.
