United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering in-home care to energy workers and their families. You will conduct assessments, administer medications, and coordinate care with case managers, physicians, and families to ensure compassionate, holistic support in patients' homes.

This flexible, independent role honors your autonomy while demanding high standards of reliability and empathy.

Qualifications

• A valid and active RN License in the state of practice.
• A willingness to travel, bringing care directly to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Malpractice Insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to deliver personalized, comprehensive in-home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Coordinate care with patients' plans, approved hours, and personal preferences.
• Monitor symptoms and report changes to the care team promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Document care in the EMR system accurately and timely.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
