United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking registered nurses to join as 1099 independent contractors, delivering in-home care to energy workers in their homes. The role emphasizes compassionate, whole-person care and requires thorough assessments and patient education.

Nurses will collaborate with Case Managers, document care in the EMR, and provide emotional support to patients and families while traveling to patients' homes.

Qualifications

• A valid and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel and provide home-based care.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Professional liability insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and a warm, empathetic approach.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide personalized in-home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Coordinate schedules with patients and plans of care.
• Monitor symptoms and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with case managers and collaborating physicians.
• Document patient care in our EMR with accuracy.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Prepare clear clinical notes and charting that tell the patient's story.
