Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. You will provide in-home health care, perform assessments, educate families, and administer treatments with empathy.

This role offers flexible, independent work delivering holistic care directly to energy workers in their homes. You will collaborate with case managers and physicians, maintain heartfelt documentation in the EMR, and ensure patient comfort and safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of practice.
Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current BLS Certification.
Ability to pass state & federal background check.
Professional Liability is required.
Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough home health assessments and deliver personalized, comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
Coordinate schedules with patients per plan of care and preferences.
Monitor changes in patient condition and report promptly to the care team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Communicate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure unified care.
Document care in the EMR accurately and timely.
Provide emotional support to patients and families.
