Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or related field preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state compliance requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on in-home support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support community integration and accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions per established care plans.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful home environment for all clients.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members.
