Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers at Pottery Barn and help close sales at the cash wrap. You will design spaces through one-on-one consultations and in-home visits, creating design plans reflecting each client’s style and needs.

In this role, you’ll promote ongoing brand engagement, maintain product knowledge across the design studio assortment, and deliver world-class service while supporting sales goals and a premium shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and clienteling abilities, with customer follow-up focus.
• Ability to coordinate complex large orders across multiple sales channels.
• Experience or interest in interior design and home decor.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients one-on-one in-store and in-home consultations to design living spaces and drive store sales.
• Conduct productive in-home consultations with accurate space measurements and assessments.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to meet sales and productivity goals.
• Support customers with services such as gift wrap, gift registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
