Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire clients and close sales at the cash wrap. The role emphasizes personalized consultations, design planning, and knowledge of current promotions to drive store performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, clienteling abilities, and 1–2 years of customer service or retail sales experience. Full‑time availability on-site is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling, and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders across sales channels.
• Experience in working with the elements of design (preferred).
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, specialty retail preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Perform in-home consultations including measuring and assessing client living space.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed goals.
• Assist customers with gift wrap, gift registry, orders, special orders, back orders, and deliveries while delivering world‑class service.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
