Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers at the store and complete sales at the cash wrap. You will promote continued engagement and showcase design expertise to elevate the customer experience.

Responsibilities include one-on-one consultations, measuring spaces, presenting design plans, and leveraging current promotions to meet sales goals while delivering World class service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within a variety of sales channels.
• Experience in working with the elements of design preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to design living spaces and drive store sales.
• Perform in-home consultations including accurately measuring and assessing client spaces.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Provide World class service including gift wrap, registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders, and furniture deliveries.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
