Job summary

Dave’s World in Edgecomb, ME is seeking a results-driven Comfort Advisor to conduct in-home consultations, evaluate HVAC systems, and present tailored heating, cooling, and IAQ solutions.

This role offers uncapped commissions, a team-focused environment, and ongoing training. You’ll build relationships, explain financing options, and drive sales while collaborating with installation and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience conducting in-home customer appointments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Basic proficiency with CRM systems and mobile technology.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Comfortable working in a performance-based compensation environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to understand their comfort needs, concerns, and goals.
• Evaluate existing HVAC systems and identify opportunities for replacement, upgrades, and improved comfort.
• Present customized heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Clearly explain equipment options, benefits, pricing, and financing solutions.
• Build trust and strong relationships with homeowners throughout the sales process.
• Confidently present recommendations and ask for the sale.
• Follow up with customers as needed to move opportunities toward completion.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the CRM.
• Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
• Work closely with installation, service, and office teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company with integrity.
• Stay current on HVAC products, financing options, sales techniques, and company processes.
