Job summary

Dave’s World in Edgecomb, ME is seeking a Comfort Advisor to conduct in-home consultations, assess homeowners’ comfort needs, and present HVAC solutions. You’ll guide customers through options, pricing, and financing, building trust and moving opportunities toward a sale.

Ideal candidates have a proven track record of meeting sales goals, strong consultative selling skills, and experience conducting in-home appointments; a valid driver’s license is required for evenings and weekend visits.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to present solutions clearly and confidently ask for the sale.
• Experience conducting in-home customer appointments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• CRM familiarity and mobile technology proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Comfortable working in a performance-based compensation environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to understand comfort needs and goals.
• Evaluate existing HVAC systems and identify upgrade opportunities.
• Present customized heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Explain equipment options, pricing, and financing clearly.
• Build trust and strong relationships with homeowners throughout the sales process.
• Confidently present recommendations and ask for the sale.
• Follow up with customers to move opportunities toward completion.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM.
• Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
• Work with installation, service, and office teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
