Access Personal Care Services, a part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, invites you to join as a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant. You will provide in-home support to help clients stay in their own homes with daily living activities.

Key duties include bathing, grooming, meal prep, mobility assistance, medication reminders, and accompanying clients to appointments. Flex hours and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or able to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet identified clients’ needs.

Responsabilités

• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, denture care, nail care, tooth care).
• Transfers and positioning of patient; assists with ambulation with cane, walker or crutches.
• Assists with meals and safe home environment; uses equipment as needed.
• Measuring and recording vital signs when ordered; health monitoring within training limits.
• Accompanies client to appointments or errands and supports nighttime security for live-in arrangements where applicable.
