Job summary

Access Personal Care Services, part of the Optum family, seeks a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant to help clients stay in their homes with daily living activities and personal care.

You will support hygiene, meals, mobility, medication reminders, accompany to appointments, and assist with household tasks, with pay ranging $13.00 to $20.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides or assists clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair and denture care, nail care, skin care and transfers.
• Assists with household tasks essential to personal care and accompanies client to medical appointments or errands.
• Measures and records vital signs when ordered; prepares meals as required and ensures a clean home environment.
• Supports medication reminders and patient positioning, and assists with ambulation and dressing.
