Job summary

Access Personal Care Services, part of the Optum family of businesses, is hiring a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant to support clients at home. You will provide daily living assistance to help individuals remain in their own homes.

You will perform tasks such as bathing, grooming, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments as needed. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $20.00 per hour, with benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current driver\'s license and reliable vehicle; access to dependable transportation or public transit.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides or assists clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, oral care, nail care, transfer and mobility support).
• Assists with household tasks essential to personal care and accompanies client to appointments or errands.
• Measures and records vitals if ordered and within training limits; prepares meals per diet.
• Maintains a safe home environment and safe use of equipment.
