Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering compassionate in-home care to energy workers in their homes across Texas.

RNs will perform assessments, educate families, assist with ADLs, administer medications, and coordinate with Case Managers, all while documenting care in the EMR and maintaining strong patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Malpractice Insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough home health assessments and personalize care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity.
• Coordinate schedules with patients according to care plan and preferences.
• Monitor symptoms and report changes promptly to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Communicate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure unified care.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
