Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering in-home care to energy workers in their homes. You will assess, educate, and support patients with compassionate, holistic care, while coordinating with care teams and maintaining detailed EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Able to pass a state & federal background check.
• Professional Liability insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough home health assessments and provide personalized care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients according to care plans and preferences.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by clinicians.
• Communicate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure unified care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
