Job summary

Verbal Beginnings, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to work in-home with children with autism in their homes, schools, and community settings. You will operate under a BCBA supervisor to deliver evidence-based ABA therapy and collect data for progress reports.

Responsibilities include traveling to client homes, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with families to reinforce skills across daily life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Patience and compassion when helping children with autism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
• Reliable transportation for in-home travel.
• RBT coursework pursuit and exam within 90 days of hire supported by employer.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients homes and provide one-on-one ABA therapy.
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record precise data to track progress and inform updates.
• Collaborate with BCBA and family to ensure skill carry-over at home.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families.
