Job summary

LG Electronics North America is seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) to service LG appliances in the Virginia Beach, VA metro area. You will travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair major appliances, TVs and A/C units, while maintaining inventory and performing related administrative tasks.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to obtain EPA certification, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred).
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
• Experience in the use of tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues.
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing and EPA certification capability.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to maintain LG equipment and ensure top performance.
• Diagnose problems, assess severity, document findings and decide on repair or part replacement.
• Process paperwork and data entry upon job completion.
• Pre-screen next day service calls with needed information before arriving at site.
• Meet or exceed company metrics such as customer satisfaction and parts management.
