Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) to cover Louisville, KY and surrounding areas. You will travel to customers to service LG appliances, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain parts inventory while upholding LG’s customer experience standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a technical role, experience with major appliances, tools and diagnostic equipment, a valid driver's license, EPA certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a technical role, field service preferred.
• Experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration, cooking, cleaning).
• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and document product/system issues.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customer locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG equipment.
• Proper use of PPE, vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by LG.
• Conduct technical diagnosis and perform repairs on electronics and home appliances.
• Diagnose problems, assess extent, document findings, and decide on repair or part replacement.
• Process paperwork and data entry after each job completion.
