Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites skilled Appliance Service Technicians to join the Bodewell team in the Phoenix market. You will diagnose and repair major GE appliances, recommend service plans, and deliver high-quality customer experiences in home settings.

Responsibilities include scheduling and driving a service van, documenting work, and maintaining vehicle inventory while upholding safety standards. A valid license and CFC certification within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience with appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer aptitude including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams).
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screen.
• Must obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Recommend repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate the Bodewell service van to customer locations and document work.
• Participate in training sessions and maintenance of vehicle and inventory.
