Job summary

GE Appliances, part of the Bodewell service team, is seeking an Appliance Care Technician to diagnose and repair major GE appliances in customers' homes. You’ll also promote service contracts, water filters, and related products while operating a service van and documenting all activities.

The role requires 1+ years of repair experience, strong customer service, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll join a team that values safety, training, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair or related field experience.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
• Basic computer aptitude and ability to use MS Office Outlook and Teams.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Willingness to obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate the Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Accurately document repairs, routes, and work activities.
• Participate in training sessions, meetings and events to maintain expertise.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of the service vehicle.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Follow all safety protocols.
