Job summary

GE Appliances is hiring an Appliance Service Technician in the Dallas, TX area. You will diagnose and repair GE Appliances’ major home appliances, promote service plans, and help customers with trusted, value-driven solutions.

A valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours are required. You'll operate a company van, document work activities, and participate in ongoing training while upholding safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience repairing appliances, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook and Teams.
• Valid driver's license; background check and drug screen.
• Must obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Recommend repair vs replacement based on cost and customer needs.
• Promote service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate the Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities.
• Participate in training, meetings, and events to stay current.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of the service vehicle.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety protocols.
