Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy OH is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The role provides in-home and community ABA services for individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, under supervision of a BCBA. The position offers meaningful impact and part-time opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience, a high school diploma, and is 18+. In-person work in Warrensville Heights, with travel required and paid training included.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
