Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to support individuals with developmental disabilities, mainly autism, through in-home and community ABA services. You will implement intervention plans, collect data, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

The role offers part-time/full-time options with in-person work in Aurora, CO and travel as needed. A high school diploma, HIPAA awareness, and 18+ years old are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality of medical records
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
• Use ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for effective care coordination
