Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy in Overland Park, KS is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to support individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, through in-home and community ABA services. You will implement intervention plans, collect data, collaborate with BCBA supervisors, maintain confidential records, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality of medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
  • Assist in development and implementation of care plans.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops and publications.
  • Use ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage behaviors.
  • Maintain confidential client records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for effective care.
