Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, through in-home and community-based ABA services. This part-time role offers meaningful, hands-on work in Rochester, NH, with regular afternoon hours and travel to client homes.

You will implement behavior plans under BCBA supervision, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining client confidentiality and professional

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
