Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team and provide in-home and community ABA services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality. This role offers meaningful impact and opportunities for professional growth in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
• Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
