Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy OH is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to support individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, through in-home and community based ABA services. You will implement intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and help clients learn new skills.

This in-person role requires data collection, confidential record-keeping, teamwork, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
Collect data on client behavior during sessions
Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
