Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism, in-home or clinic-based, under BCBA supervision. A paid training program and exam cost coverage are included so you can launch your career confidently.

You’ll work with families, track progress, and collaborate in meetings while maintaining a flexible, reliable schedule. Some duties require lifting and mobility to support children.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• RBT certification is preferred, but not required — we provide training and support.
• ASD experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
• Physically able to perform duties (kneeling, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions in‑home or clinic‑based.
• Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans.
• Use electronic tools to conduct assessments and track data.
• Collaborate in clinical meetings and receive supervision.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers.
• Provide basic care as needed.
