Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA in North Carolina is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD, in-home or in clinic settings, under supervision of a BCBA. You will help develop communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

Not certified yet? The role includes paid training and coverage of the RBT exam, with opportunities to grow into leadership or BCBA paths.

Qualifications

• What You’ll Need: Minimum age 18
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• RBT certification preferred, but not required — training provided
• Prior experience working with children—ASD experience strongly preferred
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
• Physically able to perform job duties (kneeling, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs)

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home or clinic-based ABA therapy sessions
• Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans
• Use electronic tools to conduct preference assessments and track data
• Collaborate in clinical meetings and receive supervision
• Maintain program books and develop teaching materials
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers
• Provide basic care as needed
